Travel
The speed cap, pearls, the Nether, chunk trails and why there are no teleports.
There is no teleport on 6d63.org. You get anywhere by walking, flying, riding or throwing a pearl.
No teleport commands
- No
/tpa - No
/home - No
/spawn - No warps
- No teleports from events, trials or cohorts
The only way to be somewhere else is to go there. Events and rallies show a place and a countdown. They do not move you.
Speed cap
Your horizontal speed is capped at 147 blocks per second.
- If you move faster than that, the server shortens your movement to the cap.
- You are never kicked or banned for it.
- It is not an anticheat. It is a physics limit.
- Teleports and vehicles do not count toward it.
Elytra, speed modules and flight clients all work up to the cap.
Respawn
When you die, you respawn at your bed or charged respawn anchor if you have one. Otherwise you respawn near world spawn, somewhere within about 500 blocks of it, like new players.
Ender pearls and stasis
Ender pearls stay where you threw them when you die. This means stasis chambers work. A pearl in a chamber is still there when you come back.
The Nether
The Nether has errors and zones too. See Chunk errors.
- The bedrock roof and floor are kept, with rare holes through them.
- Players can break bedrock.
- Nether coordinates count as 8 times in the distance records for trials such as The Run.
Travel in the Nether is shorter in blocks, but the terrain is as broken as the Overworld.
The End
Errors in the End start about 1,024 blocks out. Inside that, the main island is normal. See Chunk errors.
Chunk trails
Because every chunk is kept, the world is a record of where people have been. A chunk that has been generated is an old chunk. A chunk that is new has not been visited. Clients that show new and old chunks can read a trail across the map.
- Nothing is reset, so a trail stays readable.
- No seed map works here, so trails are one of the few ways to find another player.
/trailwidthlets you narrow your view distance. A narrower view leaves a thinner trail. See Lag and performance.
Distance records
/distanceshows your own farthest distance band in each dimension, and your travel totals. Nobody else can see yours.- Server firsts name the first player to reach a distance, such as 1,000,000 blocks from spawn. They are announced at least 6 hours later and give no direction.
See Chunk history.
No locator bar
The locator bar is off for everyone. You cannot see where other players are. Finding people takes skill.
Hazards
- Void zones have holes that go to the void.
- Floating zones have open air under the ground.
- Phantoms attack in the End. See Phantoms.
