Poolrooms
A rare zone of pale tiled halls with still pools under a flat roof. Skylights are the only way in.
The Poolrooms is a zone type in the Overworld. The whole zone is one building: pale tiled halls full of still water.
What it looks like
- One level of halls, 9 to 13 blocks high, on a grid of square bays.
- The tiles are the pale stone of the place: polished diorite walls and smooth stone floors in most of the world, sandstone in deserts, red sandstone in badlands, polished diorite with blue ice pillars in snowy land, and mud brick in swamps and jungles.
- Between the bays are round arches, open rows of pillars and some solid walls.
- Many bays hold a pool 1 to 3 blocks deep with a light at the bottom. Some are flooded ankle deep.
- Light comes from the ceiling and from under the water. It is never dark inside, so monsters do not spawn.
The water is still and does not flow.
From outside
From outside the zone is a pale box with a flat roof. Where the land was higher, it is cut off at the roof. The only openings are skylights over some of the pools. Drop through one into the water below. The water breaks the fall.
How rare it is
The Poolrooms is a rare zone. About 0.3 percent of zones are Poolrooms. It exists in the Overworld only.
See Chunk errors for every zone type.
