Privacy

What this site and the server keep about you.

This website

  • No cookies, no analytics, no ads and no third-party scripts or fonts. Every file comes from 6d63.org.
  • The site has its own request logging turned off, so it does not store your IP address.
  • The live status on the home page comes from a public server-list check made by the site itself. It shows only online or offline, the player count and the version.

The map

  • The spawn map is a top-down picture of the world within 5,000 blocks of spawn. It shows terrain and builds, never players, names or anything beyond that square.

Archive, stats and leaderboards

  • The spawn archive has top-down pictures of spawn, the Nether and the End. Like the map, they show terrain and builds, never players or names.
  • Server stats are counts only: players online, peaks, unique players per day and TPS. No names.
  • The leaderboard and the player page show a name with its player number, the day of first join (never the time), and game totals such as playtime, kills, deaths, distance and blocks mined.
  • The totals on the stats page add up players with public stats only. "Players ever" counts everyone, as a number.
  • /stats private removes you from the website's boards and player page, as well as from /top.
  • The stats page shows the last 25 kills between players with public stats, and the home page the newest 5: who killed whom and the minute. Never weapons or places.
  • The site never publishes IP addresses, UUIDs, locations, coordinates or chat.
  • The boards are rebuilt about every 6 hours, so a change can take that long to show.

/ask in game

  • The text you type after /ask is sent to an AI provider, Anthropic, to write the answer from this wiki. No name or account is sent with it. Don't put anything private in a question.
  • 6d63 does not store questions or answers. Only you see the answer.
  • The server log notes who asked and how long the question was. Never the question or the answer.

Discord

  • The server posts in-game chat, joins, leaves and deaths to the 6d63.org Discord, and a live status: TPS and who is online, by name (up to 20 names).
  • /stats private does not hide you from these posts. Chat, joins, leaves and deaths are public in game too.
  • IP addresses and coordinates in those posts are masked. Nothing else is sent.
  • When two-way chat is on, messages from the Discord chat channel show in game with a [D] tag.
  • The slash commands /status, /online, /stats, /top, /map and /wiki answer from the same public data as this site. /ask there works like /ask in game: the question goes to Anthropic, only you see the answer, and nothing is stored.

Account linking

  • If you type /link in game, the website keeps your Minecraft name, your player number, whether you are a Founder and the code, for up to 2 days.
  • In Discord, /link gives your account the linked role, and the founder role if you are a Founder. 6d63 never stores your Discord account: the role is the only record, and /unlink removes it.
  • The server log notes who asked for a code. Never the code.
  • Discord's own privacy policy covers what you post there.

The game server

  • The server is set not to write player IP addresses to its logs.
  • Private messages are not logged.
  • The server log notes each player's client brand and mod channels when they join, and their top speed, time spent hovering and fast moves on foot for each session. This is only logged. Nothing acts on it.
  • Stats commands show only what is listed on the wiki. /stats private hides you from /top and from the website's boards, and /atlas optout hides your name from server firsts.
