Hunted
Volunteer to be hunted. Everyone sees your rough position for an hour.
/hunted lets you volunteer to be hunted. For up to 60 minutes, every online player sees your rough position. If you survive, you earn a tag. If someone kills you, they earn one, and they get your head.
How to start
- Type
/hunted. The server shows a warning. - Type
/hunted confirmwithin 60 seconds.
The hunt starts at once.
What everyone sees
While the hunt runs, every online player sees:
- your name
- your dimension
- your X and Z coordinates, rounded to 100
- no Y
The position is sent when the hunt starts, and then every 5 minutes. It follows you wherever you go. Anyone standing with you, and your base if you go there, are exposed as well. Nothing about your position is sent after the hunt ends, and it is not written to a file or the log.
How it ends
| What happens | Result |
|---|---|
| You survive 60 minutes | You get [Survivor]. It stacks, for example [Survivor x3]. |
| A player kills you | They get [Headhunter], and your head. [Headhunter] stacks too. |
| You log out, time out, are kicked or lose connection | The hunt ends and you get [Fled] for 7 days. No position is sent. |
You type /hunted forfeit |
The hunt ends. You get [Fled] for 7 days. No position is sent. |
| You die to anything else | The hunt ends with no tag. |
| The server restarts | The hunt is cancelled with no penalty. |
/hunted forfeit always works. Anyone can end their own hunt at any time.
A killer gets one Headhunter credit per victim every 7 days. The head is given every time, even without a new credit. It goes into the killer's inventory, drops at their feet if the inventory is full, or drops where you died if the killer is offline or dead.
Fled players
A [Fled] player can still be taken. Kill them within their 7 days and you get their head, and their [Fled] tag is cleared. The server announces it.
/hunted forfeit still uses up your 24 hour wait. A server restart gives it back.
Limits
- You need at least 2 hours of playtime.
- You can start one hunt every 24 hours.
- At most 2 hunts run at the same time.
- A hunt lasts 60 minutes at most.
/hunted list
/hunted list shows who is hunted right now and how long is left. It shows no coordinates.
