Landmarks
Register a build as a public landmark. It gets no protection, only a record.
A landmark is a build you choose to make public. The server counts how long it stands and announces it when it falls. It does not protect it.
What a landmark does
- It is listed in
/landmarkswith its age, its crew and the location you chose to publish. - If it stands for 30 days, you earn a feat. See Feats and flair.
- If it is destroyed, the server announces that it fell and how many days it stood.
- Nothing about it is protected. Anyone can still break it.
Registering
- Stand at the build.
- Type
/landmark register <name> <none|1000|100|exact>. The name is 3 to 24 characters: letters, digits, spaces,'and-. The last part sets how precisely the location is published: -none(orhidden) publishes no location -1000rounds to 1,000 blocks -100rounds to 100 blocks -exactpublishes the exact spot - Read what the server says it will publish.
- Type
/landmark confirmwithin 60 seconds, while you stand at the build. - Right-click blocks with a stick to mark keystones. You need between 4 and 64 keystones, within 48 blocks of the confirm point. Right-click a marked block again to unmark it.
- Type
/landmark doneto register it. Type/landmark cancelto drop it. Nothing is published if you cancel.
You can have up to 3 standing landmarks. There is a 24 hour wait between registrations.
Keystones
Keystones cannot be blocks that vanish, fall or grow on their own. Leaves, sand, ice, crops, fire and similar blocks are refused. Some blocks count as the same keystone when they change form, for example copper at any stage of oxidation, or grass and dirt.
When it is announced
A new landmark is not announced at once. It is announced after you are offline or at least 500 blocks away, and at least 30 minutes after you finish. A random delay is added after that. Until then only you see it in /landmarks. This keeps the announcement from showing where you are.
When it falls
A landmark falls when half of its keystones are gone.
- The fall is announced with the landmark's name, its age and its published location. It names no player.
- Hours later, a second line names the crew and the player who broke it. If TNT, fire or pistons did it, the line says nobody can be named.
/landmarks fallenlists fallen landmarks, with the names once they are released.

A landmark is a way to be remembered. A monument that stood for a month is on the record, and so is the player who broke it.
