Short answers to common questions about joining, rules, terrain and records.

Joining

How do I join? Add 6d63.org as a Java Edition server. Java Edition 1.12.2 or newer can connect; the newest release works best. Bedrock Edition cannot join.

Can I use a hacked client? Yes. There is no anticheat. Any normal or hacked client can join.

Is the server open? Yes. Release 1 is live: the launch world opened on 13 October 2026. Anyone can join.

Will the launch world be reset? No. The launch world is never reset, and nothing is rolled back. Test worlds are not the launch world and can be wiped.

Is there a queue? No. Nothing you can buy gives an advantage or skips anything.

Rules

What are the rules? One: do not crash or lag the server on purpose. Even that is not a ban reason. See Rules.

Can I be banned? Not for anything you do in game. Nobody is banned, muted or kicked for it.

Are dupes allowed? Yes. A dupe is never patched for being a dupe. See Dupes.

Can I grief? Yes. Nothing is protected, including landmarks and cohorts.

Does lag get people punished? No. 6d63 fixes the mechanic. See Lag and performance.

Commands

Is there /tpa, /home, /spawn or a kit? No. None of them exist.

Are there voting rewards? No.

Where is the list of commands? /help in game, and the commands page.

Travel

What is the speed cap? 147 blocks per second. If you go faster, you are slowed. You are not kicked or banned.

Do ender pearls survive death? Yes. A pearl stays where you threw it when you die, so stasis chambers work.

Is there a locator bar? No.

Can I break bedrock? Yes. The Nether roof is open too.

The world

Why is the terrain broken? Every new chunk has chunk errors, on purpose. See Chunk errors.

Are there areas with no errors? Yes, rarely. Calm zones have clean terrain. They are about 1 percent of the map. The nine Overworld chunks at 0, 0 are also clean.

Can I use a seed map? No. The seed is not public, and chunk errors rebuild the terrain, so a seed map will not match what you see.

Are old chunks ever removed? No. Every chunk is kept forever. There are no resets and no pruning.

What about the Nether and the End? Both have errors. The Nether keeps its bedrock floor and roof, with rare holes. The End has gentle errors beyond about 1,024 blocks, and the main island is untouched.

Records and privacy

Can someone see where I am? No command shows a player's location. /seen never does. /hunted shows a rough position only if you volunteer. Events and rallies show positions only for the event or the player who calls it.

Can I hide from the leaderboards? Yes. /stats private hides you from /top. /atlas optout hides your name from explorer lists and server firsts. /tag hide hides your era and playtime tags. See Stats and leaderboards.

Are player IPs or private messages logged? Player IP addresses and private messages are not written to the server logs.

Can I buy a tag? No. Era, playtime and Founder tags come from the server's records. Nobody can buy, grant or reset them.

Discord and help

Is there a Discord? Yes: discord.gg/Xe3PqFK233. Chat there and in game are linked both ways. See Discord.

How do I get the Founder role in Discord? Type /link in game, then /link <code> in the Discord within 10 minutes. Founders get the founder role as well as the linked role.

Can I ask a question in game? Yes. /ask <question> answers from this wiki, and only you see the answer.

Server

Where is the server? In the US West.

Who runs it? 6d63 runs the server. See The Console.

Can cohorts claim land? No. Cohorts are identity only. See Cohorts.
