Far Corner

A mythic zone. The four corners of the world border, in every dimension.

The Far Corner is the last 5,000 blocks at each corner of the world border, roughly 30 million blocks out. Each corner is a square, 5,000 blocks along both edges of the border. Every dimension has its four. In each dimension all four count as one zone type.

It is mythic because it is the hardest place in the world to reach, not because it is left to chance.

Overworld

  • It is all mushroom fields.
  • Low mushroom islands sit in calm water. The water is shallow around the islands and deep between them.
  • Floating mushroom islands hang above, from about 100 blocks up to 260. Most are small. A few small ones hang lower, nearer the water.
  • Huge red and brown mushrooms grow on the low islands and on the floating ones.
  • Mooshrooms live there.
  • No monsters spawn, day or night, in light or in the dark, caves included.
  • Nothing flows and nothing falls.
  • There is no ore. Under the islands it is plain stone, and deepslate further down.

Toward the rest of the world the islands thin out into open water, and the last stretch before the normal world is open sea.

Nether

The Nether Void. The bedrock floor and the bedrock roof are still there. Between them there is only air: no netherrack, no lava, no fortresses and no bastions. A basalt wall from the floor to the roof closes it off from the rest of the Nether.

End

Nothing at all. No islands, no end stone, no end cities. Only the void.

Getting there

It is as far as the world goes. Go straight out until you reach the border, then follow it to a corner.

There are no chunk errors inside the zone.
