Shattered

An uncommon End zone of end stone cubes floating low over the void.

Shattered is a zone type in the End. It is the Valley of Water with end stone. Cubes of end stone float over the void in one repeating pattern per zone.

What it looks like

• The cubes are 12 blocks wide, 8 blocks wide, or four of 6, in the same patterns as the Valley of Water.
• They float low, under the height of the End cities.
• Every cube has only void around it. No island is over, under or against it.
• It is never near the main island. Nothing is built within 1,024 blocks of the centre.

Dangers

There is nothing under the cubes. Falling kills you.

How rare it is

Shattered is an uncommon zone. About 1.3 percent of End zones are Shattered, about one zone in 76. It exists in the End only, and only in land generated after 1.7.0. The land around spawn never gets it, so go far.
